Authentic and trustworthy campaign communication can only be created on the basis of reliable background information.

Our investigative research spectrum ranges from investigative field research to comprehensive thematic analyses. We develop suitable research strategies and implement them systematically. Through careful verification and documentation, we ensure that our results are reliable. sind.

We strategically combine different investigative methods. While one phone call may be enough for one project, another may require a variety of methods to reach the goal.

For us, providing meaningful support to organizations whose goals and visions we can identify with is a top priority. We deliberately do not see ourselves as a service provider, but rather view our work as a collaborative partnership.


Civil society organizations have an indispensable function on the path to a sustainable and just future. They become active where state institutions or companies leave blanks or act against common interests or the needs of marginalized groups.


Through their independent position, they can take on critical control functions, uncover abuses of power and strengthen democratic processes - by creating spaces for participation and collective action.

Careco was founded to strengthen this important work through sound research and has been working with trade unions, human rights organizations, environmental and animal welfare organizations ever since. We value continuous cooperation from the start of a project, but are also happy to provide the missing piece of the puzzle on short notice.

We are convinced that transparency, uncomfortable truths, and reliable information are the foundation of successful campaign work. In times of an increasingly complex media landscape, this requires special experience, perseverance, and expertise—and these are precisely the skills we bring to the table.

We have been working as a collective in various areas of campaigning since 2009. In the process, we have built up knowledge on various topics and developed a network of contacts with organizations, other researchers and experts.

Internally, we work collaboratively, independently and without hierarchies.
